刘晓康 · CS Postdoctor · Shandong University
I am a PhD graduate at the Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC) of Shandong University. My supervisor is Prof. Changhe Tu and my co-supervisor is Prof. Lin Lu. I was fortunate to be awarded the first prize for the best paper at the Symposium on Solid and Physical Modeling (SPM 2020). Now I am working as a postdoc with Prof. Baoquan Chen at Peking University.
In my spare time, I enjoy basketball, animation and computer games.
Computer-Aided Design · August 2025
A direct computational framework to optimize adaptive rib layouts on freeform surfaces by extracting networks directly from the principal stress field using centroidal Voronoi tessellation.
Additive Manufacturing · April 2025
A framework to generate fabricable, large-scale stochastic porous microstructures that balance smooth connectivity with global randomness using a parameterized dual-layer generative model.
Graphical Models (presented at CVM 2024) · April 2024
A framework to optimize dual-shape tessellations into deployable rotating semi-rigid structures while maintaining shape similarity by introducing a metric function that simultaneously considers rotational degrees of freedom and shape semantics.
Additive Manufacturing · July 2023
A novel waiting time prediction method for bottom-up vat photopolymerization (WTP-VP) that uses a prediction model based on the concept of a prediction feature region.
Computer Graphics Forum (presented at SGP 2022) · October 2022
A method to generate fabricable multi-scale Wang Tiles by utilizing a parametric model and a combination tiles generation method to create representative sets of multi-scale tiles.
CAD 2020 (presented at SPM 2020) · June 2020 · 🏆 Best Paper Award, 1st Place
A method for generating dual-shape tessellations. Given an input image, search for a dual image in the graphic library and optimize both simultaneously to create "mutual-surrounding" dual patterns introduced onto 3D surfaces.
